Johanna Hoffmann

Johanna has more than 20 years experience working with and managing professional and creative service firms. During this time she has launched companies, divisions, programs and brands, and established and managed operational, people and marketing systems. Her career success is based on her creativity and ability to develop innovative and highly effective methods for communicating new ideas and concepts to the broad market.

Johanna is a co-creator with Ingrid Hoffmann of Delicioso, a unique multi-media lifestyle brand and television show. Currently, 'Simply Delicioso with Ingrid Hoffmann' is seen throughout North America on the Food Network/FoodTV and in Latin America on Galavision. In March 2008, Ramdon House/Clarkson Potter published the brand's first cookbook – 'Simply Delicioso'. The Spanish version – Delicioso – was launched in November 2008.


Fluent in five languages - Spanish, Dutch, French, Papiamento and English - and with working knowledge of Russian, Johanna trained as an interpreter and translator at the Rijksinstituut voor Tolken en Vertallers in Brussels, Belgium and studied French and Russian at the University of Toronto. She has also completed the Ontario Securities Course.

Active in the community, Johanna has volunteered for many of Toronto's leading cultural and health organizations. At present, she is a member of Board of Directors of Ballet Jörgen Canada and the co-chair of its Fundraising and Marketing Committee. She was a Public Art Commissioner for the City of Toronto; a member of the Board of Directors of Tapestry New Opera Works, Fife House Foundation and the Distress Centres of Toronto; a Trustee of the Board of Directors of Arts Toronto and the Chair of its Marketing Committee; and the Chair of the Red Ribbon Campaigns in 1992 and 1993.
